Rebecca Kate - known to most as Beck - is a Geelong-based abstract botanical artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a lifelong love of making things.

Beck's creative roots run deep: she was the kid who doodled flowers on everything, and not much has changed. After completing her degree in 2004, life took over - until becoming a mum reignited her need to create, and she picked up the paintbrush again and never put it down.

Her work is bold, layered and full of life - tropical florals built up in loose, fluid strokes with a spatula, thick brushwork, and a fearless approach to colour. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, Beck's paintings feel both joyful and grounded.
